|
place the milk and cream into a thick based pan and bring to simmer
|
|
|
whisk egg yolks and sugar together, split the vanilla pod in half and scrape out the seeds with the baqck of a knife,add this to the milk and cream
|
|
|
once the milk is hot pour this into the egg yolk mix whisk together,add this bacvk to the pan and cook over a medium heat untill it coats the back of a wooden spoon
|
|
|
cool as quick as possible
|
