     Mexicali Soup

Servings   1 1/2 quarts

Ingredients
1 beef soup bone
1/2 lb cubed soup beef
1/4 tsp peppercorns
1 bay leaf
1/2 medium onion, sliced
1 diced carrot
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 Qt water
dash salt & pepper
 
1/2 C green beans
1/2 C corn
1/2 C diced potatoes
1 1/3 C tomatoes
1/2 clove garlic, cut fine

Instructions
Put bone, meat, 1 Tbl salt, peppercorns, bay leaf and water in large pot. Bring to boil, then simmer for one hour. Add vegetables and bring to a boil again.
Simmer one more hour. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
