Grind Oreos up in food processor. Add cream cheese and blend thoroughly.

Roll mixture into balls and put on parchment or wax paper covered baking sheet. Chill.

Melt chocolate chips in bowl 1 minutes in microwave. If not melted, heat for 30 more seconds at a time. Roll the balls in the melted chocolate and return them to covered baking sheet. Chill until the coating hardens.

Notes: You can use other sandwich cookies like vanilla or chocolate mint. You can also roll the truffles in white chocolate. Also try sprinkling the truffles with sprinkles or coconut.
