     Hot Buttered Rum Batter

1 lb white sugar
1 lb. brown sugar
1 lb butter
1 qt vanilla ice cream
2 Tbl vanilla

While ice cream is softening, melt the sugars and butter together. Add vanilla. Combine melted mixture(cooled)and ice cream.
Keeps well in freeezer. Store in well sealed container
To make drinks: Add 1 scoop of creamed batter, about 1/4 cup. Add a jigger of rum. Fill the rest of the cup with hot water if needed. Top with nutmeg.
