     Cornbread Casserole with Ground Meat

Ingredients
1 pound ground hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
Jalapenos, chopped or 4 ounce picante sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
2 cans cream style corn
1 can evaporated milk
2 eggs
1 cup grated Cheddar or Velveeta cheese
 

Instructions
Brown ground meat with onion and jalapenos; add salt and pepper to taste. Pour off any excess grease; set aside.
Mix together both boxes of cornbread mix, 1 can corn, milk and eggs. Spray Pam on casserole dish, 9 x 13 inch or 10 x 16 inch.
Pour in half of cornbread, then other can of corn over all. Add ground meat; add picante sauce over meat (if you did not use the jalapenos.) Sprinkle with cheese and remaining cornbread mixture, bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
