small cucumbers, not over 1 1/2 " wide, enough to fill a gallon jar
2 - 3 onions, sliced
4 cups sugar
4 cups white vinegar
1 1/3 tsp tumeric
1 1/3 tsp celery seed
1 1/3 tsp mustard seed
1/4 cup salt
Wash cukes. Do not remove or rub off black hairs on skin.
Slice into thin slices (best by hand).
Mix Vinegar, Sugar and Spices.
Pour over cukes and onions.
Cover and place in refrigerator. Ready to eat in 5 days.
