Pour potato flakes into bowl and add salt. Put butter into 1 cup measuring cup and add boiling water to fill the cup. Add this to the flakes and stir. Add milk and stir. Let cool.
Work in the flour with you hands when cool. Form into balls (slightly larger than golf balls) and put them on a plate. Refridgerate until cold.
Roll out very thin and bake on lefse drill that has been preheated to 500 degrees.
