Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugars, salt, butter and peanut butter thoroughly. Beat eggs into mixture until light and fluffy. Sift together flour, and soda; gradually blend into sugar mixture. Stir in chocolate bits and peanuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 9 minutes or until light brown around edges. Cool on rack.
