     Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients
2 foil wrapped (4 oz) bars unsweetened baking chocolate
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. (1 Lb) confectioner's sugar
1/2 - 2/3 c. milk
 

Instructions
In a small heavy gauge saucepan, combine unsweetened chocolate baking bars and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until baking bars melt and mixture is smooth.
Transfer to larger mixer bowl; cool to room temperature.
Add vanilla and salt. Beat in confectioner's sugar alternately with milk. Beat until spreading consistency.
Makes 2 1/2 cups
