1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 1/4 cup boiling water
1/2 tsp instant coffee
Instructions
Soak bread in cream about 5 minutes. Cook onion in 1 tbl of butter until tender. Mix meats, crumbs, onion, egg, parsley and seasonings. Beat with an electric mixer 5 minutes at medium speed until well combined or about 2 minutes in a food processor. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls - they will be soft. Brown meatballs in 2 tbl of butter. Remove from skillet.
Melt 2 tbl of butter in skillet with drippings. Stir in flour. Add bouillon in water and instant coffee. Cook and stir until gravy thickens.
Add meatballs, cook slowly for 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
