     Cornbread Salad I

1 16 oz. package corn bread mix
10 slices bacon
8 oz. of Ranch Dressing
1 15 oz. can pinto beans, drained
3 tomatoes, chopped
1 c chopped green bell pepper
1 c chopped green onion
2 c shredded Cheddar cheese
1 11oz can whole kernel corn, drained

Prepare corn bread according to package directions. Cool, crumble, and set aside.
Place bacon in a large deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
Crumble the cornbread and mix in with all the other ingredients. The orignial recipe says to layer it. Too much trouble! Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
