preheat oven to 450 and spray a 9in round cake pan or 8in square pan with the vege oil

pour boiling water in the 1/3 cup cornmeal and stir to a stiff mush. wisk in buttermilk gradually, when smooth add in egg and melted butter. then stir dry ingredients untill moistned and pour in pan
bake untill bread is golden brown, 20 min.flip out of pan and let cool for 5 min
