Prepare pasta according to directions on box. (You should be able to prepare the remainder of the recipe in the time it takes the pasta to cook.)

In a large pan saute garlic in 1 tbsp butter over medium heat until garlic begins to turn golden. Add onion to garlic and butter mixture and continue to saute until onion begins to turn translucent. (Approximately 3-4 minutes.)

Add 1/2 can Mild Rotel to butter/garlic/onion mixture. Simmer over medium heat until mixture begins to reduce and tomatoes have lightly cooked (approximately 3 minutes). Add 1 can clams with juice and pepper to pan and continue to simmer over medium heat until clams have warmed through (approximately 2 minutes). Remove sauce from heat and gently stir in remaining 3 tbsp butter to combine.

Add cooked, drained pasta to sauce pan, toss and serve. Garnish with freshly grated hard Romano or Parmesan cheese to taste.
