7 Layer Salad- Walker Family Style

Ingredients
-
 1 head of Iceburg Lettuce
-
 1 can Water Chestnuts
-
 1 doz Eggs, Boiled
-
 1 bag Frozen Peas
-
 1 jar Hormel's Real Bacon Bits
-
 2 cup bag of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
-
 1/2 red onion
-
 1 med size jar of Hellman's Mayonnaise
-
 13x19 inch casserole dish
 
Instructions
Boil Eggs, peel & slice. Tear/chop lettuce. Slice water chestnuts if you bought them whole, dice oinion.
Spread 1/2 of the lettuce in the bottom of the dish and spread 1/2 of the mayo on lettuce. This is tricky, so I mix the lettuce & mayo in the dish, then spread it for the first layer.
Then layer onion, then peas, then chestnuts, then remaining lettuce & mayo, then eggs, bacon & then cheese.
Serve & enjoy!
