     Homemade ice cream

Ingredients
1 quart (4 cups) milk (scalded)
6 eggs
2 pints (4 cups) sugar
3 heaping Tbs flour
1 Tbs lemon and vanilla
 

Instructions
Mix sugar and flour and blend in slightly beaten eggs. Add Milk and cook until thick
Put in freezer. Add 1 can milnot or pint of half and half and flavoring and fill with milk to about 2 or 3 inches from top of freezer. Add a dash of salt.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or so before freezing.
FREEZING fill tub w/ice. Crank or run motor for about 2 min. Add 2 cups of rock salt. As ice melts down 2 or 3 inches add more ice and 2 more cups of salt. Do not increase your salt usage
