4 cups sliced pared or unpared tart cooking apples
2-1/2 cups oatmeal Raisin Crisp cereal
2/3 to 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease square pan 9x9x2 or 8x8x2 inches. Arrange apples in pan. Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle over apples. Bake until topping is golden brown and apples are tender, about 30 minutes. Serve warm and if desired, with cream or ice cream.
