4 sm kohlrabis (about 2 lbs), peeled & cut into ¼ X¼ sticks
|

2 med. size carrots, peeled & cut into sticks ( or ½ bag whole baby carrots works good also)
|

1 c. chicken broth
|
|
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
|
|
¼tsp. shredded lemon peel
|
|
1 tbsp. lemon juice
|
|
1 tbsp. honey
|
|
¼ tsp pepper
|
|
1 tbsp. butter
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
In a medium saucepan cook kohlrabi and carrots with chicken broth, covered, for 6
to 8 minutes until crisp tender.
Drain.
|

Add parsley, lemon peel, lemon juice,
honey, pepper and butter. Toss lightly and serve. Yield- 8 servings.
