     Pecan Pie

Ingredients
1/2 stick of margarine, melted
1 cup light karo (can use dark)
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups pecans (halves)
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 unbaked pie shell
 

Instructions
Mix altogether and put into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower to 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Knife will come out clean when inserted in middle.
You can cover the edge of the pie shell to keep it from getting too brown when you lower the temperature.
