Ingredients

 1 1/4 cup self rising flour
-
 1 tsp sugar
-
 1 egg
-
 1 1/4 tbsp soft shortening
 
Instructions
mix flour and sugar. beat egg, add milk and shortening and blend into flour mixture. drop batter on hot griddle. turn pancakes when bubbles appear. makes sixteen 4 inch pancakes.
