     QUICHE LORRAINE

Ingredients
8 oz. Swiss cheese, cut up
6 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
2 c milk (1 c – ½ & ½ )
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 eggs
¼ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. salt
2 homemade or commercial pie shells
Dash cayenne
 
(I double the recipe for 2 shells)

Instructions
Scatter cheese and bacon in pie shells. With mixer, combine milk, eggs, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg and cayenne. Pour into shells and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes, or until set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
