In a buttered 10 inch baking dish, layer 1/3 of sliced potatoes and sprinkle with 1/4 of the Crispy Onions, 1/3 of the cheese, and parsley. Dot layer with a tablespoon of butter. Add salt and pepper to taste. Continue layering, making 3 layers.
In a saucepan heat heavy cream and milk. Pour liquid over the potatoes.
Cover dish and bake in a preheated 350 oven for 1 hour.
Remove cover and sprinkle with the remaining Crispy Onions. Bake uncovered for 5-10 minutes.
