Giget A LaMoutarde

Category   Sauces
Sub Category   Grilling
Preptime   15 minutes

Ingredients
-
1/2 cup of Dijon mustard
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 clove of garlic mashed
-
1 tablespoon of ground rosemary or thyme
-
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
-
2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
Blend mustard, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and herbs together.
Beat in olive oil by droplets to make a mavonaisse like cream.
Paint lamb with mixture. Set it on a rack of a roasting pan. The meat will pick up more flavor, if it is coated several hours before roasting.
Roast at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours if medium rare is desired. Plan on about two hours for a more well done roast, or 170 degrees on the meat thermometer.
Serving Suggestions
Can use this basting recipe for a baked roast of lamb or for grilling lamb!
