Cut, pare and core 5 lbs of soft apples (Courtland or Macintosh)
|
|
|
Cook in large kettle with approx 4 inches of water
|
|
|
Add 1/2 to 3/4 cups of sugar. Add cinnamon.
|
|
|
When its cooking, take a potato masher and mash apples until smooth enough.
|
|
|

Serve warm.
