In a saucepan, stir together sugar, corn syrup and hot water.
Bring to a boil, then add egg, flour, milk, peanut butter, vanilla and salt and mix well.
Pour into pie shell and bake at 400 degrees for 10 mins, then at 350 degrees for 30 mins more or until set.
