Ingredients
2 c. sifted flour
2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. cloves
1/2 t. ginger
1/4 t. nutmeg
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
 
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375. Cream sugar and butter. Sift the dry ingredients. Add egg and molasses to sugar/butter mixture.
Combine mixes.
Make dough balls and flatten with glass dipped in sugar.
