     Caramel Pecan Pie

Unbaked Pie Crust
36 individually wrapped caramels
1/4 C butter
1/4 C milk
3/4 C sugar
3 Eggs
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 C pecan halves

Preheat oven to 350. Combine in a saucepan caramels, butter and milk over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
Combine sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Gradually mix in the melted caramel mixture. Stir in the pecans. Pour into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Allow to cool until filling is firm.
Serving Suggestions
Vanilla or Caramel ice cream. Hold onto your teeth!
