1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken, cut into bite size pieces.
flour and salt and pepper (enough to toss the chicken in 2 times.)
1 egg, beat well
about 1/2 c. milk
1 c. water
2 chicken boullion cubes
1 T. oyster sauce
1 T. sugar (optional - I don't use it)
1/4 c. water and 2 T cornstarch, mixed
salt and pepper
green onions
cashew nuts
White rice
Instructions
Toss chicken in flour mixture.
Beat milk and egg together and dredge chicken.
Remove and let sit for about 15 min, then re-toss in flour mix and fry until brown.
Sauce-
In small sauce pan combine water, boullion, sugar, oyster sauce. Heat to boiling then thicken with water and cornstarch mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Arrange on plate-
Rice, Chicken, Sauce, onions and cashews.
