2 lbs ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork sausage
salt and pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 c. oil
3 garlic cloves, whole
3 large cans tomato sauce
6 cans water
1 large can tomato paste
3 cans water
2 cap fulls dried parsley
salt and pepper
1 cap sweet basil
garlic pwd (enough to whiten the top of your pot)

Brown, in frying pan, first 5 ingredients.
In a large pot, combine oil and whole garlic cloves, saute until cloves are lightly toasted. Add tomato sauce and water, tomato paste and water and all remaining spices.
Add meat mixture to sauce and cook 2-3 hours.
Boil chosen pasta and add to hot sauce.
