Wash potatoes and prick. Bake at 400 degrees for one hour or until done. Let cool. Cut in half. Cube potatoes and set aside.
Melt butter in large pot over low heat. Add flour and stir until smooth. Cook 1 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till thick and bubbly.
Add potatoes, salt, pepper, 2 TB green onions, 1/2 cup bacon and 1 cup cheese. Cook till thoroughly heated. Stir in sour cream. Add extra milk if necessary for desired thickness.
Serve garnished with onion, bacon and cheese.
