     Strawberry Cake

Ingredients
1 box white cake mix
1 3 oz box strawberry gelatin
4 eggs
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup cold water
1 10 oz pkg frozen strawberries
4 tbps margarine, melted
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9-inch pans or one 9 by 13-inch pan. In large bowl of electric mixer, combine cake mix and gelatin. Stir and add eggs, oil and water. Beat 3 minutes.
Add three-fourths of the package of strawberries. Reserve remaining berries. Beat only until well-mixed. Fill pan only half-full. Bake 40 minutes.
Beat margarine, sugar and lemon juice with remaining strawberries. This is a thin mix. While cake is still hot, prick with toothpick and spread with this mixture. This cake is good either hot or cold.
