     Aunt Ada's Sea Foam Candy

Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup water
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
1/4 tsp mint flavoring (optional)
a few drops green food coloring
or 1 tsp vanilla
 
Instructions
Boil sugar, corn syrup and water to medium ball stage (240) Slowly pour 1/3 over stiffly beaten egg whites-beating constantly.
Cook remaining syrup to very had ball stage (265) Beat syrup into candy mixture.
Continue beating. When mixture holds shape add 1 t vanilla or other flavorings and color. Drop from twp to greased cookie sheet.
