     Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
2 ¼ c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
¾ c. white sugar
¾ c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
12 oz. chocolate chips
 
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar. Add rest of ingredients. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees until brown.
