     French Fried Onions

Ingredients
1 cup flour
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 tbsp melted butter
salt
1-2 Vidalia onions
 

Instructions
Peel onions and slice into bowl a of milk, let stand 15 minutes then drain dry with paper towels. Beat eggs; add salt, butter, milk and flour mixing well to make a smooth batter. Fold in onions, drop into deep hot shortening and fry to golden brown.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with a good homemade Ranch dressing
