Instructions
On special occasions, such as the start of a school year or a special achievement, she would make us her home made chicken strips and home made french fries. After a long first day of school I always remember walking in the house exhausted. However, when I walk in the house and I'm greeted by the familiar sweet smell of the chicken tossing around in the boiling oil. The sound of the oiling popping and crackling gets my heart to beat faster. I always offer to help my mom so I can sneak a fresh piece before everyone joins in. Here is the simple recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation in my mom's family-
1. Break two eggs into a medium glass bowl. 2. Mix up flour, Ms. Dash, and a pinch of cyan pepper on a plate. 3. Cut up a boneless chicken breast up in to strips. 4. Coat the chicken in the egg. 5. Coat the egg covered chicken with the flour and spices. 6. Place in a fryer for 15 to 20 minuets.
