2 Tbs.butter
2 green onons, finely chopped
2 1/2 cups water
1/2 tea. garlic powder
1/2 tea. salt
3 cups uncooked quick cooking brown rice
2 Tbs. fresh parsley
1/4 tea. dried thyme
1 tea. dried sage
1/4 tea. grated lemon rind

Melt butter and saute green onions for 1 minute. Add water, garlic powder, and salt; bring to a boil.
Add rice; reduce to med. heat. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
