     POUND CAKE

Ingredients
2 Sticks Butter
3 cups sugar
3 cups cake flour
¼ tsp baking soda
6 large eggs
1 8ounce Sour Cream
1 TBS Vanilla Extract
Cake Flour spray
 

Instructions
Preheat Oven 325 Degrees. Spray Cake Pan with Butter and Flour Spray. Spray Cake Pan with Butter and Flour Spray. Beat BUTTER with mixer until Creamy. Medium Speed.
Gradually ADD SUGAR. Beat medium speed for 5 to 7 minutes. Combine CAKE FLOUR and BAKING SODA Add FLOUR to butter mixture 1 cup at a time.
Separate EGGS Add YOLKS to batter. mix well. Stir in SOUR CREAM and VANILLA
Beat EGG WHITES until stiff. Fold into batter. Spoon batter into greased and floured pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. Until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 45 minutes
