1 c butter, softened

2 c sugar

3 eggs

1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

2 tbs milk

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

4 c flour

Instructions |

Mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
|
|
|
|
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla and milk, mix well.
|
|
|
|
Add flour mixture and chill overnight.
|
|
|
|
Bake for 8 min at 450 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet.
Be generous with flour when rolling dough for cut outs.
