     Apple Pie

Ingredients
CRUST-
3 cups Flour
1 1/4 cups Crisco
1 beaten Egg
5 T Water
1 tsp Vinegar
Salt
FILLING-
2 T Flour
 
1 cup Sugar
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
2 Butter
Dash of Salt
5-7 Granny Smith Apples, peeled and sliced

Instructions
CRUST- Mix flour, crisco and salt and set aside. Mix egg, water and vinegar then add to flour mixture. Roll 1/2 dough for bottom layer of pie.
Peel apples and place in salt water. Mix flour, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Slice apples (heaping) onto dough in a 9 inch pie pan. Pour dry spice mixture over top. Slice butter over mixture. Add top layer of rolled dough (make sure to cut steam vents). Seal edges. Back 50 minutes at 400 degrees.
