Ingredients
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 large eggs
10 tablespoons butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup self rising flour
1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans
 
nonstick cooking spray

Instructions
Peheat oven to 350 degrees F.Then pour about 2 inches of water in a saucepan and heat it.when the water bubbles,take the saucepan off the heat. put a heatproof bowl into the water and then put the chocolate chips into the bowl. Stir the chocolate until it melts.Puit on some oven mitts and lift out the bowl.Break the eggs into a separate small bowl and beat them.Put the butter,sugar,and vanilla into a bowl and beat them. Add the egg,a little at a time,beating after each addition.Sift both types of flour with the cocoa powder into a bowl. Add the melted chocolate,and stir all the ingredients well. Chop the nuts and stir them into the mixture. spoon the mixture into the pan.smooth the top with the back of a spoon. Bake the brownies for 35 minutes. They are ready when a crust has formed on top,but they are still soft in the middle. Leave the brownies for 20 minutes,then cut them into squares.you could use a stencil to make powdered sugar designs on top.
