     Chocolate Chip Paisley Blondies

Ingredients
3/4 cup (1 and 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
 
1/2 cups chopped nuts
1/2 cup Hershey syrup

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350, grease a 13x9x2 inch backing pan. Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
Stir together flour, baking powder and salt; beat into the butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nutes. Spread half of the batter (about 2 and 1/2 cups) in the prepared pan. Spoon syrup over the top; evenly spread over the surface with 1/2 inch of the edges. Drop teaspoonfuls of the remaining batter over the syrup so the surface is almost completely covered.
Back for 35-40 min, or until lightly browned. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Cute into bars, makes 36 bars.
