     Yellow Cake

Ingredients
½ c. milk
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. butter
 

Instructions
Scald milk and add butter; set aside. Beat eggs until light and fluffy, add sugar. Gradually add vanilla, then flour and baking powder sifted together. Add milk last (batter is very soft). Bake in 8x8 pan about 25 minutes at 350 degrees. When cake is done and still warm, spread top with butter (which melts in). Then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Double recipe for 9x13 pan.
