Mix together sugar and crisco
|
|
|
|
Add eggs, vanilla & buttermilk (to step 1)
|

|
In a separate bowl mix salt, soda, flour
Then add this mixture to sugar/crisco/eggs/vanilla buttermilk
Mix until batter is thick
|
|
|
|
Drop spoonsful of batter on cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar (red or green for Christmas)
Bake at 350 degrees until brown (bake shorter or longer depending on how crispy you like your cookies.
