Dumplings
-Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and
salt
-Cut in butter
-Add pecans
-Stir in milk to only moisten ingredients
-Drop by tablespoonfuls into gently boiling syrup
-Cover and simmer for 15minutes without lifting
cover
-Serve hot with sauce spooned over dumplings
-Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip
