     Pasta Fagioli

1 lb. can undrained Northern beans
2 (14 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
2(14 oz.) cans clear beef broth
1 lb. jar Prego spaghetti sauce (no substitute)
2 ribs of celery, sliced thin
1 onion, size of a lemon, chopped
2 c. small type pasta, uncooked
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven over medium high heat. Bring just to a boil, turn heat to low, cover pan with lid and allow to cook gently, 20 min. or until pasta is tender. (For variety, I brown 1 lb. lean ground beef, ground turkey OR Italian sausage at beginning and add all other ingredients to it).
