     Beef Casserole

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef , browned & drained
1 (14.5 oz) can chopped tomatoes
1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 bay leaf
1 6 oz. pkg medium egg noodles
 
1 cup sour cream
6 chopped green onions

Instructions
Brown ground beef then add chopped tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper, and rotel.
Add- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste and 1 bay leaf and simmer 30 minutes. 1 6 oz. pkg medium egg noodles, cooked and drained. Add- 1 cup sour cream & 6 chopped green onions - stir and spread in lightly greased 9 X 13 pan. Top with meat mixture, then sprinkle evenly with 1 cup of grated cheese of each kind- sharp Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese Bake, covered with aluminum foil, at 350 for 35 minutes. Uncover casserole, and bake 5 more minutes. (May substitute low-fat or fat-free sour cream and 2percent reduced-fat Cheddar and reduced cheeses to ½ cup each to lighten this casserole.)
