Take cod fillets, cut into serving pieces, rinse, and sprinkle with
garlic salt and black pepper. Crumble bay leaves over it; bake in a
little olive oil for 1 hour or until cooked all the way through.

Combine Italian bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic, oregano,
red and black pepper to taste, and salt, and mix well. Take
drippings from baking fish and add wine vinegar. Layer fish with
bread crumbs and soak with wine vinegar. Cover with foil or plastic
wrap.
