     Butterhorn Rolls

Ingredients
1 cup butter crisco, softened
1 cup sugar
4 cups milk
9 cups flour - divided
1 tablespoon salt
1 envelope yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
 

Instructions
In saucepan mix and heat till blended; butter crisco, sugar and milk. Set aside to cool to luke warm.
In mixing bowl mix; 8 cups flour and salt. When first mixture is luke warm add flour mixture and mix together.
Dissolve yeast in warm water (not hot). Then add to mixing bowl and mix together. Cover bowl and let set till double in size. Then add remaining flour (1 cup), soda, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly.
Take out a portion of dough. Roll out and cut into triangles on a floured surface. Melt butter and brush on wedges before rolling up (wide end to narrow). Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 mins. Place the rest of dough in the refrigerator. Will keep in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
