1 box German chocolate cake mix, batter prepared according to package directions
1/2 cup margarine or butter
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 (1 pound) box confectioners' sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 cake
Cover the bottom of the pan with the nuts and
coconut. Pour the cake bater on top.
Melt the butter in a bowl, add the cream cheese and
confectioners' sugar, stir to blend. Drop by
spoonfuls over unbaked bater, bake 40-42 minutes.
The icing sinks into the batter as it bakes, forming
the white ribbon cracks!
