Add butter to pan to heat. Flour shrimp, and then saute shrimp in butter (2-3 min). Add shallot to shrimp and saute for 1 minute. Remove shrimp.

Add white wine to deglaze pan and simmer the alcohol off. Reduce wine until sauce thickens a bit. Add cream and reduce slightly again.

Add back in shrimp, lemon juice and salt & pepper to taste.
|
|
|
Take cooking pan (or add to a brioler safe dish if you need to) and put under the broiler for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.

I have done this as an app, for dinner, and for company (and did 2 lbs of shrimp). Any which way it is yummy.
