Whisk sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.

In a second bowl, melt butter and chocolate and mix well. Add the oil, vanilla, coffee, yogurt and eggs to the chocolate one at a time, mixing thoroughly before adding the next ingredient. Mix into the dry ingredients. Add milk, a little at a time until the batter is lightened a little. The batter is heavier than other waffle batters. The waffles cook longer than normal and will be very soft when done.
